An eventful 3rd Term (2014/2015 session)

Language Day took place on 14th May 2015. The language day focused on the use of mother tongue. This was showcased in attires, music and dance, presentation of drama, recitation of poems and songs by the pupils.  Parents present were advised to use their dialect at home to communicate with their children.

Parents Teachers Conferencing which took place on 28th May, 2015 enabled parents and teachers to meet on a one-to-one basis to discuss about their child’s academic life. This enabled each parent and teacher to decide together and agree on solutions to help each pupil become a total child.

Literacy Day too place on 11th June, 2015. It was marked with inter-quiz competitions, debates, and review of books from pupils at the Upper and Lower primary classes with Year 4 Scholars emerging as the Victors.

Open House was the last activity of the term with the theme “Heroes and Heroines of Our Time” and took place on the 26th of June 2015, where each class gave presentations on their hero/heroine giving parents and visitors information on the personal, family, social and occupational life as well as their achievements and in what way they helped shape their community and the country. Their choice of hero/heroine was depicted on their classroom walls and doors. The event was full of fun and pageantry with the National Mirror newspaper gracing the occasion. Year 5 Diamond – Alhaji Aliko Dangote

Year 4 Scholars – Professor Wole Soyinka

Year 3 Emerald – Madam Onyeka  Onwenu

Year 2 Stars – Professor Dora Akunyili

Year 1 Stars – Chief M.K.O Abiola.

Reception 2 Mighty- Mr. Cobhams Asuquo

Reception 1- Mrs Olayinka Olukunga (A.K.O. Nnenna and friends fame)

Preschool 1 and 2 – Dr. D.K. Olukoya
